Best Time of Year to Install a Fence

Fall through early spring is usually the most comfortable and predictable stretch to install in our area, avoiding peak summer heat and the height of hurricane season. But it’s not the only time that works.

Why fall through early spring is popular

Milder temperatures make for easier working conditions, and it avoids the June–November window when a tropical system is most likely to disrupt scheduling. A lot of homeowners also like getting a new fence in before the holidays or before spring yard projects start.

We install year-round

Timing mostly comes down to permit or HOA/DRC review lead time, not weather. Concrete cures fine in our summer heat, and we work through it regularly. If you need a fence now, there’s no reason to wait for a “better” season.
